My Dad’s Birthday!

Hi everybody, sorry that I have not posted in a while but can you blame me. School, is so hectic these days that I just can’t. Though todays topic as you can see is my dads birthday so lets hop to it.  My dad’s birthday on October 12th was the best time I have had at my dad’s birthdays. We drove to this restaurant that was 50 minutes away which was boring and tiring.  Though the whole drive was worth it when we got to the restaurant because it was amazing when I saw it. The second we got there we met our friends who immediately congratulated my dad. We had reserved this beautiful table in this corner of the restaurant where there are carvings of a forest with flowers and animals. We took these pictures that had huge balloons that said 40(my dad is turning 40). Soon we decided to order because we were all getting hungry. We ordered many appetizers and some main courses and said we would order the rest of the main course after we finished appetizers. Though the  appetizers were so much that it  was like a main course itself!  The food was really spicy but if you know anything  about me, you should know I LOVE  spicy food.  Even though it was really spicy, my family and friends liked it.  The appetizers  were  bread which was soft and had veggies and potatoes in it.  We also had chicken and cauliflower which is my favorite( even though the cauliflower was so spicy it made my eyes water).  Soon we were full and could barely have the main course that we ordered and did not order more.  My friends and my baby brother decided to explore the restaurant even though it was so fancy and barely allowed us to explore.  My little brother was practically running instead of walking around and exploring but me and my friends we’re just watching him and talking since it wasn’t all that exciting. Though we did have fun laughing at him because he was wearing this tiny tuxedo and it was so cute!  Soon it was time for cake!  I could not wait to eat the cake and neither could my friends. We all laughed while we were cutting the cake. I was so excited to eat the cake but  I hated the flavor that my mom got for the cake. It was this Indian sweet called gulab jamun (gu-lab jam-an) and a lot of people like it but I don’t like the flavor of the cake.  So my friends and I did not eat but my family ate it but my friend and I got this brownie with ice cream on top. It was so good. If you wished that I could eat more but I couldn’t. Still my dad was really happy with the cake and we all had a lot of fun when we went outside to talk  and explore. It was a great night. I can’t wait for my next birthday with dad! 😉
